Yeah man! It's snowing out as we speak. Even if it's not a storm, I'm just over it. I mean, don't get me wrong. I loathe summer heat. I like 75 degrees, option of a jean jacket, t-shirt. Maybe warm enough to wear cropped pants, but this I hate.
I want nice spring weather and I want it now. |

We got the nice snowstorm I wanted. It was beautiful. No school on Wednesday. Two hour delay on Thursday.
I could go for one more snow storm before spring. I misplaced my camera and didn't get any pictures of my daughter playing in the snow. But if there's no more snow to be had until next year, then I guess bring on the spring! |

It was horrible for traveling Friday, early morning, when I had to go out to work! Luckily, it heated up today, so alot of melting took place, lol.

Aww. I'm sorry.
Practically everything melted by me. So that is good. Hopefully it means spring weather is on the way. |

What are some of your favorite things to do outdoors when the spring weather arrives?
I should go for walks in my neighborhood, but I haven't done that in a few years. I always want to sit out on my deck in the backyard and enjoy being outside, but it seems everything around here is covered with a yellow pollen-type dust. My daughter (she's 8 this year) loves picnics, so we do take out a blanket and have a few picnics in the spring (usually on our front porch or up in the "penthouse" suite of her swingset). That's fun, cause she loves it so much! How about everyone else? I would love some new ideas. |

I don't like exercising that much

I wanted to exercise this weekend, but I hurt myself pretty badly cleaning out my closet. I pulled/strained something fierce, so exercising seems out for the next few days. It's not worth hurting myself more.
Before I reupped the gym last year though around March/April I was going on walks around my neighborhood for a good 30 minutes for three days a week, and it was nice. When the weather gets nicer perhaps I'll start doing that again. |

Spring can't get here soon enough for me. I got a little rose bed planned out for the front yard and I'm eager to get started. fortunately, it hasn't been too bad of a winter where I'm at. we've just missed some pretty bad weather several times and I'm sure not complaining. looking forward to doing some other outdoor activities as well. I hate being holed up inside for so long. it's depressing. seems like I've watched more movies this season than any time in my life....and then there's work of course.

Staying inside for a prolonged period of time can be depressing. You just want to get up and take a walk, even around the block but when it's freezing and snowing, you can't do that.

Yeah, I did something to my foot awhile ago ~ I have no idea what. Back in the beginning of January, it felt like a really bad sprain but up until even now, after I sleep overnight on it, it feels so freaking stiff in the morning and it's sore until I walk it off a bit. I hate it. And it doesn't help that I'm on my feet for like six hours at work, only minus a 15 minute break. __________________
