It's definitely Daphne kissing someone, and it's definitely not Mingo. I know that much, even though I cannot see the man's face.

I still think it will be important to Lizzy Weiss for the story to end with Daphne in a serious relationship with Mingo.

If the show was continuing, I would have loved to see Daphne with Chris. But Mingo is a good guy, too. I wish I cared more about Daphne. The writers really ruined her character for me.

I was the same, but I really like her when she's with Mingo. I'd prefer to see Chris with Sharee though.

Yeah, I think the writers will end the series with Daphne and Mingo as a couple. I also believe they will pair Regina and Luca as a lasting love. Toby and Lily will stay together, as will John and Kathryn, of course.

It's not like being single is the biggest burden in life. I would prefer that over her ending up with Travis anyway and unless they do a flash forward, her ending up with Emmett wouldn't make much sense, at least not right away.

I could also see Regina going after Eric in the end. But we'll see.

I agree. I love being single. It's not a burden.

But Bay does get the shaft a lot on this show. So much so, that earlier today, I thought to look up the definition for it. I found this at Urban Dictionary:

1. Originating in Old Europe during the Middle Ages, where burial space was often in short supply throughout many communities. To maximize use of space in many cemetaries, the dead were often buried in a 6 foot vertical shaft, rather than the usual horizontal grave position. The vertical position was considered less socially respectable. Thereafter the term began to mean poor treatment given to someone in such a way that demeans him or affirms second hand status as a citizen.

I won't share the second definition, but it was even worse.

If every other character ends the series with their life mate, and Bay does not, then why is she different?

What are the writers saying about Bay?

Daphne has treated Mingo horribly. Daphne has treated a lot of people horribly. Why does so much go her way?

I have this feeling that the writers are going to turn Mingo back into his "prince charming" self here at the end of the series. Why does Daphne need that?

Why couldn't we see Daphne truly devoted to her study of medicine here at the end? Or even going back to work in a restaurant? She could open a bakery and supply The Cracked Mug with pastries and lemon cakes.

If the series ends with Daphne & Mingo together and Bay all alone, I will be sad about that.

But didn't a lot of the series focus on Bay and her romantic relationships? I mean she got Emmett and Ty, Emmett again and then Travis, all potential life partners, while Daphne only got a lot of random hook ups...

Besides, both Daphne and Bay are still young so just because it's the end of the series doesn't mean it's the end of their lives.

The only thing that ever bothered me about the show was that while Daphne gained two parents right away, Bay kind of had to "share" hers and also had to deal with how reserved Regina was at first and Angelo not even being in the picture. I guess this isn't the right thread for that discussion though.

The entire series did focus on Bay and her romantic relationships. True. That's why it will feel all wrong to me if we end the series with Bay as a single woman.

Since the pilot episode, from the moment Bay told Liam he had excellent tongue control, all I have ever cared about is Bay being lucky in love. I have followed Bay through five years of hell to get to that ending. And if Bay decides to give up on love and focus on herself as a single person now, that will feel sad to me.

I wanted to end the series imagining Bay with the love of her life. Truly, I wanted to see Bay interacting with the love of her life before the end, but I do not feel her scenes with Travis live up to that title. So I'd like to see Bay with either Travis or Emmett at the end, so I can imagine her experiencing a love like that.

Lizzy Weiss is famous for liking to "switch things up" as she calls it in tweets. Even Vanessa Marano and Katie LeClerc have commented on the fact that however Lizzy Weiss begins a season, by the end of that season, everything will be reversed.

That's too formulaic for me. Just because Bay started off Season 5 happy and in love with Travis, I don't want her to end the season (and the series) alone. And just because Daphne has struggled with relationships off-and-on for the last five years, I don't want to see her get the Hollywood ending with Mingo, at least, not if Bay doesn't get one, too.

(For me, I wasn't bothered by Bay having to share her parents. It is sad that Regina never reached out to Bay, though.)

I don't think focusing on yourself for awhile is giving up on love... I don't need to see a definite ending with Bay choosing either Emmett or Travis. I would also be okay with them leaving it somewhat more open.

I do need to see a definite ending for Bay's love life. I hope I get one!

Will you be disappointed if we do get a definite ending?

How about for Daphne & Mingo? Will you be disappointed if they do not end up together?

Well, I want Bay to end up with Emmett, but if I can't have that then I would settle for her ending up single.

As for Daphne, I would love for her to end up with Mingo. Mainly because I love him and I think he' s a great influence on her. Also it's been built up since the beginning of season 4, so I would be disappointed for sure if they didn't end up together.
