I did always wonder why the start of this relationship kind of dropped so suddenly. I was kind of neutral to it, didn't really get the chance to develop an opinion one way or the other.

I think the main reason why it might have dropped was because the actor who played Ty ended up getting a main character on The Lying Game.

I do wonder how things would have played out between Bay and Ty if the actor had been able to stay on the show, though. Any ideas?

I remember seeing him on The Lying Game, which did make me wonder if he was originally intended just to be a short stint character on SAB before taking on the new role ... or did the new role just come after that by chance?! Hm.

I'm not too sure what they intended to do with his character aside from Bay. Maybe they would have explored something deeper with how Daphne and a 'friendship' with him had been in the past?!

Yeah, maybe they could have just intended to make him a short-term role. It just made me wonder; if he had been intended to stick around, would he and Bay have had a longer relationship and would it have taken longer for Bay/Emmett to develop.

I agree though that if he had stuck around, they might have gone more into his and Daphne's friendship, since we mostly just got a little glance of that.
