I'm still thinking about their scenes! It was such a happy surprise to have so many scenes with them.

I'm really liking how they are handling them.

I love the old fashion feel and touch that they have added to the relationship. Mark courting Maddy is so great. Mark as they would say is a Southern gentlemen.

It's hard for me to believe how much I adore this couple already! Usually it takes me a while to warm up but this couple just drew me in from the beginning Maddy started rambling when she meets Mark first the first time and I couldn't help but smile at that scene.

I can't wait for more scenes with the two of them, they are adorable and it makes such a difference to my other couples.

I love that Mark wasn't supposed to be in it for the full season only for the writers to turn around and keep him in. Guess they liked the chemistry between him and Maddy and the fact that they could do more with him.

Can't wait to see it how turns out!

One question - is this being shown one/two episode ahead in the USA? I like in the UK and I've just saw Instinct (episode 3) but you are already talking about episode 4/5. It's usually the USA gets the season first then we get it.

Between this couple and Andy/Sam from Rookie Blue - I'm don't think I'm going to be thinking straight for a while! LOL

The US just saw episode four or three depending on how you look at it. Some look at the two hour premiere as two episodes and some don't. The episode we just saw was called "What Remains".

everything about them last night was so freaking adorable.

From the awkward date, from him checking on her, to her already getting him to tell her things, to her being frightened for them, to him protecting her AND THEN the giggling!

I loved when Mark was like, "I just came to check if you were okay. Are you okay?" Made me laugh.

It was nice to see their sort of transition throughout the episode. They started off pretty awkward then by the end they were talking nonstop. I seriously love how they're handling these two; they're taking it slow and we're slowly getting to know each of them as individuals, even in scenes together.

Can I just say how much I inappropriately squeed when Maddy pulled him to her after Taylor let him go?

Me too. Especially when viewing the gorgeous .GIFs you posted. I love that Mark feels compelled to directly ask her, "Are you okay?" That says a thing or two about his personality.

I also enjoyed the transition you mentioned, Audrey. I think it's realistic because even when the attraction is immediate, the actual relationship part often takes time to develop, and I like that they started off awkward and found their footing afterwards.
