Who knows what the networks are thinking sometimes?

No, I haven't it either. I have heard mixed things about it, but I would like to see it. It is quite a long one though, so I will prob wait till it comes out on DVD too

Sometimes I think the network officials are also pretty out of touch with what the audience wants despite them presumably conducting audience screenings so they see how people would react to things. But perhaps the sample they take out of the population isn't necessarily representative. I don't know.

Yes that was the other point. I don't think I can sit still for such a long timespan and I heard they have some very fast cuts in there so I was remembered of Japanese Anime where children got epilleptic episodes when watching.

Yeah I agree with that Sometimes I do wonder who they aim some of their shows at

I definitely cannot sit still for that long. I need my toilet and snack breaks to enjoy a film
Yeah I heard about that happening with some films I think I read somewhere that the most recent Twilight film caused seizures in some people

I saw the first two or three Twilight movies ONLY because i had my tyres changed at Sears and I was not the only one so that took them hours and there is only so much time you can spend at Target, so I went to the pictures and that was the only thing that was on at 1pm. Suffice it to say... I didn't become a fan.

I bet we'll be really surprised what new shows get picked up when they announce it at the upfronts next week.

I have never watched any of the Twilight films I am quite proud of myself to have resisted so far

Yep the upfronts are the 17th (I think ) so we will know the fate of the show then

Only six more days then.

Ah, I didn't watch the last two movies... so suffice it to say I wasn't intrigued at any point. I never saw Harry Potter or Titanic.

Yep, and then we get the good or bad news

A lot of my friends have tried to get me to give into the Twilight temptation, but I think I am fine without

I have watched 1 or 2 HP films, but they have never really interested me too much
I have watched Titanic though I have met many people who haven't

I thought I was the only one who didn't feel the Titanic vibe. Documentaries on the subjects were enough for me. And yet it is by far not the worst catastrophe of a sinking ship. On the Wilhelm Gustloff died at least eight times as many people as on the Titanic. Obviously it's awful and a tragedy both and not competing for numbers.

Yeah, I do enjoy watching the documentaries about it, and there has been a lot of them recently with the anniversary

But it is a wonder, why this tragedy out of them all, resonants with people more? It definitely has had a lot more attention and spotlight than others, as you mentioned

I hate being gone so long & coming back with bad news. Ringer has officially been canceled. I didn't want it to be true. I even checked another source, hoping they would report differently. They didn't. One of the staff writers, Jay Faerber had this to say:

All I can do is wish the whole cast & crew well in all their new projects.

ETA: Sorry angelface211. I didn't see your post when I posted this. I guess it goes to show how long it takes me to post when I'm futilely checking all the sources.

I am so sad Especially for the cast and crew This was the return of SMG and the rest of the cast did such an amazing job I am really disappointed for them

I know the ratings were not great, but I can't help but be a bit frustrated at the shows that were renewed But I don't want to vent my anger here

I agree, and hope that the cast go on the more projects, and that SMG can truly enjoy her pregnancy

Thanks Cee Cee

Hey Natasha and onlimain, great to see you again Thank for both for bringing the news her, despite it being bad news

I just have a tiny hope that another network might pick it up, but tbh I don't think that will happen
