I love that gif set! I was disappointed that we never got to see why he wanted the Dark One dagger. I doubt it would have been as simple as he wanted to become the Dark One.

I also really wanted to know about his past with Regina. I have my own thoughts about it, but I'm curious how they would have lined up with whatever the show had planned.

When they first introduced him, I thought it was going to turn out that he was working with Gothel and he was eventually going to betray Regina. I was happily surprised that didn't happen. I really wish they would have just left his story open ended rather than killing him off.

I've had a lot of confusing thoughts about his past with Regina. Did he know her when she was still the Evil Queen, or was it from a later period after Robin died? Because Zelena knew who he was.
