I can't even begin to comprehend a version of Once where Charming died. Fortunately the version of the show that ABC green lighted included Charming. I doubt I would still be watching the show after 6 seasons if Charming was not a part of the story.

I'm very fond of Shepherd David that appeared in Heartless. Very fond indeed. Thanks for the gifs, Dena.

I cannot imagine the show without Charming. I would have never watched past the Pilot if he had died. And at this point he, and the Snowing love story, are so integral to the show that it's hard to imagine it making it past the first season without him.

Josh is incredibly versatile and very talented. He has a great acting pedigree and is both stage and screen trained. They haven't really used his weapons training lately. He makes the best of what he is given. But, he is underutilized. Hopefully, this spring Charming will get a storyline arc that utilizes Josh's many talents.

He looked really great in that shot. Something about the combination of that look and the scruff.

Those women were right, though.
I find it very interesting that they were okay with an "unhappy" ending. Going dark is not something they shy away from. It seems it's others who influence them to come into the lighter side.

I'd love to see Charming with his dog again at some point.

Me too. I hope there is not some very sad untold story about why we never saw the dog again. If David and Ruth had sheep, they would have a sheep dog. Maybe he spent most of his time in the fields protecting the flock and that's why we rarely saw him?
