#9 for me, too. I loved the dock scene and the reunion, but as a whole, it wasn't a favorite episode. But it's not an easy choice.

I thought Lily was an amazing episode for Emma's character and Mother was great for Regina. But I'm voting on the episode as a whole for CS and for me, Best Laid Plans has so much for them and Mother just didn't have as much. The flashbacks didn't make much sense but I thought the present day stuff was good. Cora felt very OOC to me, for example.

I like the message but the execution was a bit off. Regina is the only one standing in the way of her own happiness would have been a better message coming from Snow or Emma but Cora trying to say it was wrong. I mean, she killed her first love. That kind of gets in the way of one's happiness!!!

But that scene at the docks I expect will rank very high when we do the scene survivor. It was just so great. I loved how Emma is trying to change the subject and flirt with him but he knows that reconciling her relationship with her parents is what she needs. He is actively protecting her heart instead of putting himself first. This ship is perfect.

That scene alone is a beautiful scene. The scenery, the talk.

I mean Regina in the way of her happiness, sure but she also has been in the way of other ppl for so long or killed up like they are nothing

Regina admitting that aloud was actually one of my top favorite moments of that whole episode, Captain Swan stuff aside because Regina's rarely acknowledged her own faults. The fact that she realized that she was the only person standing in the way of her happiness was herself, I thought was perfect for her.

I agree with that. The writers had to make very OOC in order for that connection to make sense. I still can't figure out exactly her motivation for helping Regina. Was it for herself or to help Regina?
