Well, if the bit about her insisting on doing her forest scenes' barefoot is true, the uggs make sense. Apparently she couldn't walk in the shoes they originally gave her on the uneven ground.

Haha yes, all of that is true. I just meant it's funny seeing the uggs paired with that gorgeous dress. Liz makes it work though. ;)

Elizabeth Mitchell going barefoot as the Snow Queen was a wholly creative decision on her part, I believe.

It was, but Liz said in an interview she chose that because the heels they wanted her to walk in would've been a disaster since she's not graceful/tends to fall. :lol: So she asked to just be barefoot.

The impression I got from her comments is that although the costume department had created heels to go along with the dress, they were never actually used because she looked at them and asked if she could instead go barefoot.

I didn't say the heels were used. I said, essentially, the same thing you're saying. Liz revealed in an interview that she said no to the heels because she knew she wouldn't be graceful in them/would probably fall.

I want to know why no one in Storybrooke recognized her as a stranger during the first curse. After all, she wasn't there the entire time we know that from the video, but we also know she WAS there during season 1.

Regina seems to have noticed all the strangers, so that implies that Emma isn't the only one who has had her memories erased.

That is an interesting point. I would assume that not even Regina knew everyone in the town, but somehow she got into SB without being noticed and even set up an ice cream shop, which would have drawn attention. I wonder if she has been following Emma for years and followed her to SB when Henry went looking for her and brought her to town? It does seem like somehow she has managed to erase people's memories of her though since no one seems to know anything about her and she has been there for years.

Do you think she was adopted by the same family as her friend Lily? (I think that was her name from the last epi.) We saw the dad... but we never saw the mother. Could it be the SQ?

That last scene on the camera was clearly shot in a group home. As I pointed out elsewhere, the term 'foster mother' can therefore only be applied to the Snow Queen in the most broad sense.

I actually think that is a pretty good speculation that the Snow Queen had been tracking Emma all along and followed her to SB when she brought Henry back.

She obviously found out about the town somehow if the curse did not bring her there and the town was invisible to outsiders. Although, August was able to find his way in. Maybe those from the EF, other worlds could find it. Plus, maybe Greg's fantastical story as a child got around. :shrug:

I do wonder when exactly she came to our world and why. Just for Emma? Before the Dark Curse? After the Dark Curse?

The most accurate term to describe the Snow Queen's role in young Emma's life would be Group Home Matron.

Despite the fact that her identity was probably fake.

I am thinking maybe after - the way they talked about the curse in 3x19 and how undoing it 'put walls between' our world and FTL made it sound like the curse made it possible to cross between the two realms magically.

That of course raises the question of how she did it. So many questions...
