Yeah, the complaining would drive me nuts. Emilie looks good as brunette so I don't see why not.

agreed - poor Emilie doesn't need any negative attention. She's playing an awesome role.

True! And she is a good actress so I hope she gets to stick around with this show for awhile.

It would be great if she had a recurring role.

Yes, exactly. I think it can be done, in flashbacks, and Storybrooke. I mean, they don't have to tell Belle's whole life story in one flashback.

I think the should darken her hair, I'd be ok with a light brown or maybe some lighter highlights but I feel they should stick to the overall look of the Disney Princesses because they are suck iconic and loved characters. I know some people are complaining that there's not enough variety in ethnicity but if they had made Cinderella black people would of been throwing hissy fits, they did change the fairy godmother though.

^ Yeah so do I but I love Emilie so if they don't and everyone complains it will bug me. They can introduce princesses like Tiana, Mulan and Jasmine, they aren't white.

yeah, they should stick to the core of who the princesses originally are. There is an african american princess anyway, Tiana, they just have to cast for her and her story that's all. Like Jakls, said, there are already ethic princesses but what I find hypocritical is if anyone where to change it and make these ones 'white', there would probably be an uproar and cries of 'racism.' Not from everybody mind you, but there are groups of people out there who would. But it's okay to argue and do it to the white ones, change them, who are originally like that.

I hope they die her hair, I've always thought of Belle as a brunette that was one of my favorite things about her, cause I'm a brunette
I want all the princesses at some point and I want them all to be friends! |

Great thread! Lovely arts and animations
Do you think Ella was able to read in the Fairy Land? I know she didn't read the contract and some people are upset about thart but she was an 18 year old maid/slave girl in some middle ages type of setting. It would make sense if she didn't. That would make Rumple taking advantage of her all the more vile. |
