Just a vacation.

Sad news, guys. A friend of my family passed away a week ago, then today I found out a cousin of mine and my boyfriend's mom passed away.

I know there's a big drama reaction whenever a beloved character dies on the show, but seriously, it's not the same as someone really close to you passing away. Actors and actresses at least are still alive and can move onto better projects. Real deaths stick.

I'm sorry about your loss. It's never easy, and always hurts, to lose someone you care about. Learning of two losses in such a short time hurts even more. I'm truly sorry.

I spent time with my boyfriend and his last friends' last night at his house. It's just him and his brother now, no more parents. His dad passed away early on when we started dating. But it was good to be there for him, and have some laughs with his friends.

On the upside, I have a job interview tomorrow. I applied to some contract graphic design jobs, and the headhunter called me back the same day I applied; which coincidentally also happened yesterday.

I had an interview yesterday but I don't think it's the right fit for me. I have another interview tomorrow. That one is closer, about a 15 min drive. We'll see how that one goes.

I have a job offer from that interview. He got back to me yesterday but I already left the house to spend time with my boyfriend, so I didn't see the e-mail until I got home. If he accepts, I might start working again on Monday.

I have another job interview this morning. The one I'll be starting on July 5th doesn't have medical benefits, but the one I'm interviewing today does; so if they give me an offer, I will definitely take it.

As a resident of a country with universal healthcare, I just don't get why the US doesn't have it. But good luck, and I hope you get it.
