By the way, I hope that this season is more than what you're hinting. Because this strikes me as a bit thin for a main narrative.

I've no idea if Emma will have to face those things, it's too early to tell.

This latest episode is making me think that there is some large undercurrent of something going on, but what it is I can't tell at the moment.

The kids mining dark fairy dust in the Black Fairy's mines.

Time runs differently in the Dark Realm (Gideon aged 28 years while only one day or so passed in SB), so they probably grew up and died/escaped during the Black Fairy's stay in SB.

Do we assume they were all fine after the BF had left, or even that they were released/sent back home like Gideon was? It would have been nice to have seen that in the montage of happy endings.

I think the only way I can reconcile the Jafar we saw in season 6 with the Jafar we met in OUAT in Wonderland, is that the Jafar from season 6 is from an alternate Agrabah. It's the only thing that would make sense to me.

That seems reasonable seeing as there are alternative versions of characters in season 7.
