For people comparing Emma/Neal with Simba/Nala. I love the comparsion between them by the way. That should be in the reason list: "They are the human version of Simba and Nala"

Yeah I've been seeing comparisons between Simba & Nala too. And it totally fits- friends/potential lovers when they were younger. Time seperates them. They reunite and get their happy ending.

It's not like they were kids. It's be just unbelievable if they didn't recognise each other. Plus I'm pretty sure their reaction in the promo says it all

No one is beyond recognizable on this show, even if one's hair, outfit, voice and everything else have changed by appearance after multitude of years. The difference between one's SB look and FTL look is huge, but that doesn't affect anyone's judgement.
