I completely agree, but I understand Emma too. She thought Neal sent her to jail for a crime he committed and she wanted to shield Henry from the "truth".

I agree she was only in Henry life for a month or two and she didnt think she would ever she Neal again. Plus she was still hurt and thought Neal betrayed her. Emma was more open with Henry when they were living in Ny.

The situation was hard. I mean its hard to tell a kid that your grandparents are in a cursed town and you were really adopted and your birth mom is there. Henry might have put his mom in a straight jacket.
She did try to truthfully tell him about Neal |

What do you mean? She didn't tell Henry that Neal died in a fire the second time after the year in Ny. She told him that he was killed by a bad person and he died a hero. It was close to the truth. she didnt use the fire men story the second time
