So do I. After Tamara shot Neal, I was sure we'd be rid of triangles for awhile. It seemed unbelievable that either of them would develop feelings for someone else just a few days later.

I think Neal is judged so harshly when it comes to "Tallahassee" because Emma has been so hurt and broken because of him. But her image of Neal was worse than the reality.

Emma probably thought Neal didn't love her at all, that he was just using her to get the watches, then called the cops, and fled with the money. And to top it all she found out she was pregnant with his child.

But in reality, Neal

1.didn't call the cops. That's confirmed by the writers!

2. sent all the money to Emma (but thanks to a certain thieving wooden jerk, she didn't know that:mad:), and gave her also the car. That was probably pretty much all he had!

3.was just trying to do the right thing. Emma had a destiny to fulfill, and Neal also wanted her to find her family.

I'm not saying Emma should not be angry with Neal. He DID abandon her, after all. I just think people shouldn't judge Neal so harshly, and besides, there is still much we don't know about that story..

Exactly. Neal left her because he thought it was the right thing to do. It wasn't because he was afraid of his father or because he didn't love her enough to fight for her (like many people chose to believe). :rolleyes: He left her because he thought she was better off without him. I will probably never understand why Emma couldn't fulfill her destiny with Neal by her side, but apparently that's how it was. :shrug:
