I couldn't agree more. He has more potential than most other characters. He has backstories in our world, in Neverland, in FTL and maybe in other worlds too. he's Rumples son, Henrys father and Emmas love interest and he also has a backstory with Hook, Pan, Tink and every other NVL character. There is so much they could do with him. The possibilities are endless.

I don't have much hope of Neal getting a better SL in 3b. The writers just don't know what they're doing.

They made August a regular and then they wrote him out. They made Ruby a regular and lost interest, in her. Belle is hardly in any scenes. And still I thought it would be different with Neal.
