That glimmer of hope on her face! It's like in that moment everything was hopeful and beautiful for her.

And then of course stupid Kathryn had to interrupt. Honestly, if Kathryn hadn't reared her annoying blonde head, I think David would've kissed her and Mary would have let him. If only for a few seconds.

In the scene where Mary was confiding in Emma, I saw more of Snow in her when she was saying that it would be a lot easier to be "with David" if Kathryn was mean. (Which btw, I think is sort of a backwards hint that Kathryn isn't all that a bag of chips) lol I'm not saying Snow White is a homewrecker, it's just that Mary showed more of that backbone characteristic of Snow.

I hope this "triangle" is short-lived. I'm not a fan of them whatsoever, and while I know that they won't get together so soon, I hope there are other obstacles besides third parties in their relationship. Both of them have plenty of internal circumstances and whatnot to complicate things, more than just a fakewife.

I have to say, one of the things I love about this show are all the "grey areas". David being in love with Mary and yet having a "wife" is one of those. For some people, it would be unspeakable for Prince Charming to cheat on his wife, even if he's cheating on her with his soul mate. lol But the thing is, these characters aren't one-dimensional fairy tale people. They're actually... human.

And I'm not advocating for cheaters, lol, but in this case, David and Mary are being deceived, so the whole wife/marriage thing becomes kinda null. But despite that, I don't know if David would ever do that to Kathryn, even knowing he doesn't love her. I think his sense of duty is far too great.
