I do believe the writers have been given the OK to use the names of their Disney Princesses and other characters . For example, the Grimm Brothers never named the 13th Wise Woman (Evil Witch), but Disney named her Maleficient and OUAT also called her Maleficent. Archie's dalmatian is called Pongo after Pongo from 101 Dalmatians. Jiminy Cricket's name is also a Disney creation (he's just called The Talking Cricket in the story) and that is the name of Archie's fairy tale counterpart. The Little Mermaid, a Hans Christian Anderson story, does not have a name (she's called Sirenetta in some variations), but Disney calls her Ariel and the writers already have talked about introducing Ariel into the storyline. Also, the seven dwarves were never given names but Disney called them Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey. OUAT has also called their characters by the same name. Therefore, calling the title of the thread Disney Princesses isn't really out of the realm when they're using characters from the Disney movies.
