I remember not liking Kathryn/Abigail at first, but when I saw Whatever Happened to Frederick, my appreciation for her grew. I would love to see her and Frederick together again.

Same. At first I thought she was kind of a brat but then when it became clear that she was just being forced to marry Charming I felt bad for her. She was just doing her duty and making it clear that their marriage was a business transaction.


I just realized this thread is coming to an end. When the time comes does anyone have a new title suggestion?

Agreed. She did seem to soften her tone by the end of the episode. But she played her part towards Charming exceedingly well, and only made me adore him more. Even in frustration, he was always polite and attempted to act honorable even if he didn't want to.

I always wondered if Abilgail acted that way towards Charming because she was trying to make him not marry her. As we saw, she clearly wasn't interested, but she may have wanted not to disappoint her father so she wanted Charming to be the one to break the engagement.

Abigail was raised as a royal, whereas David wasn't. She probably knew that most likely her marriage was going to be arranged. She had her status to protect. I think she was hoping that David would break off the engagement. I also love how her respect for David grew after he helped save Frederick.
