It's interesting how Hook thought of Neal as a friend. Not sure Neal feels the same way. But they haven't seen each other in a while.

I guess there could be more to the story of what happened while they were both in Neverland. I'm sure they would have met again before they ended up leaving.

God, I loved them fighting over the lighter. And then them running together to try to retrieve the lighter. It just looked so comical.

I think that Neal and Hook actually were friends before Neal found out that Hook is into Emma. At the beginning of the last episode, Neal thanks him for offering to come with them to the Dark Hollow. I think there was a very brief moment where Mary Margaret is telling Emma it is dangerous that both guys have feelings for her and then we cut to the guys. It's not the best angle, but it looks like Neal is actually smiling at Hook.

So young Bae and Hook have apparently more history in Neverland than what we've been shown.

I seriously believe that there is more to the Bae / Hook relationship than what we have seen so far. I mean Hook knew the location of Bae's cave. At the very least, he was keeping an eye on him.

In a strange way Hook and Neal might be the closest thing each other will ever have to a friend, since only they know what it's like to be trapped in Neverland for so long and live under Pan's rule.

Right now, these two are competitors, but I hope that they eventually become friends. Obviously, these two have things in common. We saw that Emma saw the similarities during episode 2x06. Hopefully, once the triangle is finally resolved, they will be able to get along. Of course, that would take time.
