I have heard a couple people say it reminds them of a film

Hope it can do well as a show with that aspect to it.

I'm very similar to you. I don't watch many comedies (just The Office and Parks and Recreation, but those are really in a category all their own), but I just can't resist this one. I find all of the characters to be unique and just plain hilarious.
