I liked Nick in this episode and all of Winston and Ally's interactions. Especially when we found out she talks about Winston all the time and knows how he likes to eat his raisins.

Great episode!

I liked Winston and Schmidt spending time together. I wish Winston and Ally would get together already, they are so cute

The Jess/Nick scenes were great too

I liked this episode better because of B story felt more strong. I loved Winston and Schmidt, I was dying to watch them having their own SL together. Aly being talking about Winston all the time! That made me so happy! Furguson was amazing I love that dude so much haha I would love it more if Schmidt would have told Winston to not quit because he did not quit and there is noone better to know that imo

I loved Nick's vulnerability. It was sweet. NJ were not as slapstick as I expected so I am happy about that. Their SL with Sam was very predictible tho and it didn't give me goosebumps or excitement. But I found it heartwarming. I stil lthink it's stupid to give a gift that means more to you not say anything about it while giving it tho.

Sad that this episode hit series low but I am glad they already renewed NG. Otherwise I'd be stressed out

Sidenote: I like the parallels with previous episodes too

Look at my bb I loved when he went to the trash can and everyone laughed! Wisnton sang to him. It was so cute and sweet and funny! Star of the episode haha, I loved his parts

Where yesterday's rating was published?
I've seen both chapters twice, but I'm hoping to see them again captioned to give an opinion.

Oh my god, thank you, I just have read it. I'm shocked. Honestly the first episode had dull moments but did not think the audience could fall as much. How sad! I do not want to expand my astonishment here because it is a topic to talk about the chapter, however I need mean that hurts me It also says that FOX overestimates series. I don't think it is like that.

It might be because general audience didn't know it was a double episode. I hope they won't miss next week episodes.

Jess and Sam’s relationship fares much better in “Helmet,” when Jess freaks out after a Nick sex dream. Not only are both parts of “Helmet” infinitely funnier than the two plots of “Jeff Day,” the first episode actually looks worse in comparison.

“Helmet” also touches on the Nick and Jess past, but in a much better, and actually progressive way. Of course, Jess would still have feelings for Nick that would manifest in a sex dream, especially, as Cece points out, as things get more serious with Sam. I love when Hannah Simone becomes a secret ringer, drunk Cece or not, and she definitely serves this purpose in the Nick and Jess scenario, inadvertently revealing who the sex dream was about, and commenting on the ultimate details about the dream.
"Jeff Day" · New Girl · TV Review A New Girl double-header has a hit and a miss · TV Club · The A.V. Club

I was gonna mention Cece's scene when she opened the door to Sam

"What up, legs?" I loved that! Cece awwww

I found interesting that Sam was the son of a gay couple. I like how often the series introduces topics related to LGBT. He also made me investigate. I was not clear since when fertilization in vitro are performed in the United States or since when the homoparental adoption was legal, but I searched it on the Internet and certainly not give me accountable for what I think he had a life story that they must exploit, could have interesting results.

I found very positive that Winston told Schmidt that although Aly be with another man, he will get her with perseverance. I am very excited with that couple.

Cece is increasingly great day by day. During the Nick-Jess-Cece's talking about helmet I wanted to hug her for having made laugh so much with her interventions.

Winston was hilarious on this episode and Ferguson is the best cat, no one should discuss that!

I agree that Cece is increasing day by day, I always liked her but not as much as I do now. The best of her is how she interacts with the guys (like when she went to buy her wedding dress with Winston). Well, not with all the guys, "what's up legs"

Am I the only one who suspects that now that Sam is back they'll touch the Nick-Jess stuff more frequently?
