They really could have gone far in their relationship if they still kept them together.

And the way they had it in S4, I could have seen George end up with Tansy or Lemon. But it just seemed so random to bring AB into the mix....

I could have easily bought them being endgame. They spent so much of the series as a focus after all.

Yeah, i honestly think they would have made much more sense for an endgame rather than AB/George because at least Tansy and George had history. So even if they randomly got together in the finale or the episode prior, it wouldnt have seen out of the blue. With AB/George, they were starting the relationship too close to the finale.

Well, if they were going to be endgame it wouldn't have been a last minute reunion imo.

Yeah, which I'm not a fan of, but it still would have made more sense to me than George/AB...

My point is, if they were going to be endgame, there would have been buildup for it, unlike what we got with George/AB.

The writers would have had 10 episodes to bring them back together, which is plenty considering they hadn't broken up all that long ago

yeah it did make more sense, and they would have needed much storyline leading up to them getting back together. They really only would have needed like one or two scenes and we would have been content because we knew they always had lingering feelings for each other.
