I'm not really worried about them ruining them. Right now my major concern is being bored to death. I'm still optimistic and I can see several ways that the story can go.

I don't know at this point how to make it less boring honestly.
I honestly feel like they are zombies just going through the motions. Joel still bores me...but yet no story overall is exciting me. The belles, blah! __________________

I found the last couple of episodes were amusing enough. The past one was slightly better because of Wade's line. That is what keeps me invested. Amusing and nice don't. Although amusing and nice are enough to keep me watching, they don't get me excited for the next episode.
