Okay, just to start with the basics: I grew up in one of the oldest houses in So. Cal to have been built with indoor electrical wiring. As we discovered during renovations, parts of the house actually had bare copper wiring between the beams, with rubber insulators separating them from anything that could ground them. Needless to say, lightening storms became... exhilarating... after that discovery (even in a region that only gets thunder storms a few times a year).

IRL, fuse boxes only emit even small sparks when they have been jerry-rigged with chewing gum wrappers to keep faulty fuses working. Even when that happens, they never blow as cineamatographically beautifully as that one did in 122.

IOW, I bought into the fuse box blowing spectacularly only because it was cute (which is not how I reacted to the season two bee plot) in season one.

I want Zoe and Wade to come back together without any "zany" plot devices because I want to have faith in a future that will be based on a realistic relationship. I don't need to see any artifice, whether it be star charts, stars aligning, fuse-box explosions, car scenes with semi- or unrealized UST, or anything else we have seen before.

I simply want to see Zoe admit that she loves Wade.

There: I've said what I want with all of my i's dotted and t's crossed. I don't actually care how the scene is written as long as the emotion is conveyed and received.

I don't think it will be one thing that brings them back together. I think it will be a series of events that makes Zoe realize that Wade is the one for her. Every time something happens we will get a little smile or look from her, I think. Whether it be towards him or just to herself.

Not only will the writers have an entire season of ZW to explore, but they've got to draw out the approaches (and reproaches) that will lead to true intimacy if the CW isn't brain-dead.

I want to see every step. I want to see their true first date (and I don't count 209 simply because "whackadoodle" Zoe thought it would be cute to bring a book to the date she couldn't bring herself to bid on publicly). I want to see everything from Zoe washing Wade's admittedly incongruous plaid shirts with her own designer laundry to him keeping a secret stash of her favorite Pinot vintage behind the bar just because he loves her.
