That episode was really bittersweet for them, they were struggling so much not being with each other, and then happy ending...

Yeah, it was almost like she had a wall up where she wasn't allowing herself to know Wade on a different level other than being "friends with benefits" But when she finally did, there was no going back.

I think they were close to it, but things got a lot more serious when they were actually together. Even though they had things to learn, they were so together, if you know what I mean? You could easily believe that they'd been together for years

Yeah, i agree. They were definitely at least falling in love by the Christmas episode, but once they were a couple officially after that, they had more serious moments because they were getting to know each other on a deeper level. Thats why i think the when they broke up, no one really got them taking it as hard as they did because they basically fell in love out of the town's eye.
