Yeah, Joel had such a huge part in the show, he was given so much screentime as well as being so 'serious' with Zoe. The writers really misread how the audience was gonna take all that...

I'm kinda torn between 1x01, 1x03. Even though he carries her and makes her gumbo and helps her, I dunno, that moment in 1x10 was just magical.
 I dunno. I'm kinda leaning more toward the pilot.  |

Yeah, I feel it is the first chapter of their lives together, but the scenes were too brief and even though there was attraction, there wasn't feelings there just yet, as you said. So I might end up going with the pilot on this round.
1x01 I think that's my final answer. |

Yeah, I think most people shipped them from the pilot. I know I did. She had me at her head roll and he had me with his snarky comeback in their first meeting. I knew it was gonna be love at first hate for those two. I was on board from the pilot.

Yeah. I tend to gravitate toward the snarky underdogs and the bad boys, who aren't afraid to be vulnerable and Wade is all of that. He checked off every single one of those boxes. George was too cookie cutter boring. I like George, but he's no Wade Kinsella. George and Zoe was never even on my radar. IMHO, they had no chemistry at all, from the pilot and even in the later episodes. Nothing.

I definitely have a thing for the underdogs too, I always seem to ship the couples that don't end up together, so with ZW, I kinda thought 'oh, here we go again', but luckily I was wrong!
