Yeah, it could have. Especially since Wade did still have some insecurities when it came to his relationship with Zoe. He still kind of felt like he wasn't good enough for her. So maybe a few talks with Lavon could have helped Wade through those insecurities.

Yeah, exactly! I think the reason why George's talk with drunk Wade didn't work is because all his insecurities were coming out and a lot of them revolved around George at the time. I do wonder if Lavon would have had better luck in that situation.

I definitely think so. No one wants advice from the guy the whole treats as perfect. Wade didn't have that thought process for Lavon.

Yeah, I think in Wade's mind at the time, he just kept thinking that he was going to lose Zoe to George so when George tried to talk to him, it backfired. I think Lavon would have had a lot more success. Also because Lavon has helped him through hard times in that regard in the first place.

He did at that time in the show, & coming from him would have been more likely to get through to Wade, because he was already sensitive about George in that ep

Yeah, exactly! He was already feeling like George was the better guy in the scenerio so once he was the one who tried to talk some sense into Wade, it hit a nerve with him and all it did was backfire. Because I feel like even drunk Wade wasn't even willing to cheat on Zoe because when that girl initially went up to him, he brushed her off. If Lavon talked to him, I think it would have made him think about the reality of what he was about to do. And the consequences.

And there would no comparison in Wade's mind since he never compared himself to Lavon.

Yeah, and also Lavon was never a threat to him and Zoe's relationship. So I think that would have played into that as well.
