Yeah, it was. And we saw them try to bring it back in S4, even with his friendship with Wade, but that friendship was already different by that point.

They tried to recover the friendship, but it was clear that the friendship wasn't the same.

No, they really became more like acquaintances because Zoe and Lavon were best friends. So he sort of had to be.

Yeah, it really was.

You could tell that they weren't really close anymore, and it is completely understandable. Wade needed his friends during that time and Lavon wasn't there for him.

Yep, exactly. That is where we saw him relying more on George and Lemon instead. Because they were there for him more than Lavon was. Even after Lavon had said that he would help him get through his heartbreak.
