Lavon had started becoming unlikeable to a lot of people in s2, & putting him with AB really saved him imo. People thought they were adorable together & rooted for them

Although, I actually didn't like how he got really mopey when it came to AB when she said she couldn't be with him in 2x14. But once they actually got together, he was definitely a lot better.

Yeah, they did. I think it is safe to assume that Lavon being Lemon was just not good for him. AB was so much better.
