Another observation I'm not sure where to put...

Lemon stands in the way of a lot of relationships... (Her dad and Shelby for one)

But also- more parallels:

S1: Zoe tells George, "I'll wait for you." (Can't be together because of Lemon) George still loves and returns to Lemon.
S2: Lavon tells AB, "I'll wait for you." (Can't be together because of Lemon)

As I 'ship' both L/AB and L/L I'm of 2 minds- I hope it works out better for AB/ Lavon than the waiting plan did for Zoe/George...

But with the love of parallels with this group of writers, I wonder if AB/Lavon will be stymied- once again by the man returning to Lemon... (Which also makes me happy, since I like L/L...)

We were talking about George's backstory in the Donkey Kong and Mighty Mouse thread, and some questions about Lemon's backstory came up that I thought were more appropriate to ask this thread:

Where did Lemon go to college and how did she have time to live in her sorority house/be member of a sorority/replacement mother for Magnolia/date George/go to classes & do homework all at the same time?
Why didn't Lemon's college degree give Lemon something substantial to put on a resume that could have given her a better route to a permanent career?
Did Lemon and George go to college together?
How did Lemon and George sustain a relationship while he was at law school (I, personally assumed that he went to Alabama Law at 'Bama, since it's a top tier school that would have given him entry at a top law firm in NYC, but that's a long commute to BlueBell, since it's stated that she returned to her father's house after she left school)?

I have been wondering that college and education thing about Lemon for forever. We know she went to college, but she apparently didn't do anything that would have helped her getting a resume in any way. This is clearly not thought through entirely by the writers, but perhaps we'll find out some day!

Lemon was on a roll again in the new episode

It was so cute to see her with George again and how she always said he owes her for eternity, because of the wedding

But I'm glad Brick told her off at the end, because Lemon clearly was wrong.

And I agree, I was happy too that Brick told her off. What Lemon did was just plain wrong. But the way she got there was pretty entertaining to watch
