Their scenes in this episode highlighted to me how much they do love and care for one another. I think in a way that makes it all the more painful to realize that the door is closed when we just saw evidence of how well they could work now that they've changed.

I'm just glad that I followed spoilers and knew that it was coming before seeing this episode because I was at least prepared for it. Although even knowing the spoilers and what was going to happen, I have to admit that I held on to some small glimmer of hope during their scenes. JK and SP have amazing chemistry and work so well together.

So I'm with you 100% on what you say. The direction they are choosing to go in is always going to feel forced to me.

I wanted them to be endgame, but their closure was beautiful. Most of my non-endgame ships don't get such a good treatment, and I'm glad they're still friends.

I agree #61 was a beautifully acted scene in which they both showed what love they shared. Lemon showed so much regret in this scene and George´s words ("how could you do this to me, I loved you Lemon" ) were so heartfelt. Through all the heartbreak I felt their love in this scene
