Yeah, it was a big turning point. And I don't think he ever expected he would be happy with someone like that. That's why he just kept denying it when he could never say no to her and never able to actually break up with her.

Yeah, she is definitely not someone I thought Brick would end up with. And at first I didn't really like them together, but then we really got to see such how happy she made him.
