When We Were..*Starting* (Profile--DESTiNY-)*

Summary It was their last year of highschool and graduation was approaching, at this time it was the start of adulthood which meant you marry and get a job. All that was planned for this group of friends until there was a draft came along. Some boys even went far enough to hurting themselves this way they didn't have to go into the Korean War, but most took pride in fighting for their country.Yes they were scared and forced to enter but they knew if they didn't fight, Communism would make its way into out country and we would no longer have a democracy. This rp is about a group of friends who have to deal with the consequences of war , and who will be waiting for them when they get back. Plot- Jim Johnson and Jane Scranton dated all through out highschool and were completely in love , they were planning on getting married and raising a family after they graduated but plans changed in an instant. The Draft started and all the guys were called to join the Marines before leaving Jane lost her virginity to Jim, they were waiting til marriage but they didn't know if he would come back and she wanted him to be her first. She ended up being pregnant and didn't tell him in any of the letters because she didn't want this on his mind when he was fighting in the war. Jim went missing and all his friends came back home with the bad news. Jane knowing she had committed a sin and is considered a sin to her parents, her friend Ken made a proposition to marry her this way her parents wouldn't disown her , but everyone would think it is his child. She didn't want to do it at first but this was her only option so she agreed and they got married, because of the situation they did not consitmate the relationship until 4 months after their wedding. They loved eachother but everyone knew that Jane wasn't in-love, like she was with Jim.She had the baby and they started to become a family , it was hard on her at times to think about Jim but she always let her son see photos of his saying it was his uncle, even though the boy was just a baby she had to have Jim in his life somehow. The young boy was a spitting image of Jim.. Two Years later Jim was found passed out on the shore of some island and was unconcious for 5 months, the people who found him brought him to a hosptial and took care of him. It is now two years later since he left home and he has finally waking up but he will come to realize that once he gets home nothing is the same.His bestfriends Eddie and Roger are the only people that know he is back besides his family, he didn't want many people to know just yet.
