In other news: my kitten is an absolute doll. She's had no adjustment period at all. She feels right at home.

My two-year-old cat is the one having adjustment issues. She's hiding away in my bedroom (under all the covers) and won't come out. So my time is being split between playing with the new kitty and making sure the other one knows she is loved as well.

But I've been calling her Lady (Lady Snow ... after Lord Snow a la A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones).

My boyfriend won't let me name her anything related to GOT though. He's a cad.

Awwww kittens are so adorable. There's a vet who specializes in cats down the street from my office so I pass by them every day and there are kittens in the window available for adoption. They are SO CUTE. People just like stop walking down the street to watch the kittens play.

My cat sadly passed away earlier in the year. She was quite old so we had many good years with her. My parents got her when I was a kid so I pretty much grew up with her But I think in a couple years, I may get a cat of my own because I am totally a cat person

Lady is indeed the name of Sansa's Direwolf. I don't think my boyfriend remembers that, so it could work. I was thinking "Lady Nym" or even LYANNA. I don't think he remembers Lyanna was Ned Stark's sister so I may try to be sneaky and name her that and not tell him it's a GOT name.

Also: my icon is supposed to invoke the fear of the Gods in you! It scares even me a little.

And awwww, Sarah. I remember when my childhood cat passed away. I was really sad. I didn't get a cat for about four or five years after that (mostly because where I lived I could not have one.) It's different getting a cat of your own for the first time. I've surprised myself by how responsible I can be.

I like Lady. It's fairly generic so nobody would guess, but it also has a GoT meaning you can secretly enjoy, without your boyfriend knowing.

It looks kind of sexy to me, but I have a complex. So.

Lady and Tramp would be awesome pet names!

My cat growing up was named Pepper and my mom adopted a stray and named him Salt. So they were Salt and Pepper
