I think the original idea was she was going to drug the prince/wake up naked with him and make him think they laid together. Cue her sleeping with a Stark to put a bun in the oven. But maybe he squealed or maybe her plan failed to garner an engagement and she is married to a Stark by default. Cue her resentment and blame game. Who knows! She was crazy.

Well, here's the thing ...
I don't plan to let Alysanne live long in the ... third generation. My plan was to have her die and then pandemonium takes over King's Landing because a.) she won't name an heir and b.) I figure there are a lot of Targaryen bastards running around. Does Aegon ever reproduce at some point before he runs off? So when we picked up Westeros would have enjoyed a period of cultural growth and prosperity a la Queen Elizabeth's Renaissance, but her death marshalls in a new era of uncertainty and the throne is essentially up for grabs. Moonie: I would say for my own personal investment, Desmera and Elric and Anya need to live on. And it'd be nice to have one neutral Targaryen faction out there, so one of your baby Targs should live on too.  __________________

You enjoy killing off the characters I like the most.
I'm not sure if he ever had a kid. Possibly? I'm sure if he and Reina were together, they could've made a go of it. Much like Hugh and Ryella. And Reina was sweet enough that he might've made an effort.I do like the idea of Westeros going to hell in a handbasket because of a bunch of warring potential heirs, though.  Could be fun.Libby - THAT'S RIGHT. I remember now. Vaguely. For the sake of torturing my own character I'd be all for that happening.__________________
