Jessica: I fiddled with the edge of my dress, nervously pulling it down to reveal less skin. "Well, uh.. I play guitar.. I'm not that good, though." I added as an after thought. "I sing...and write songs. That's how I got here...singing." I said, finally gaining the courage to look at my new friend, a blush creeping onto my face. "They heard one of the songs I wrote, and offered to bring me here." I said, smiling. "What about you?" I asked, nudging her slightly. "I don't think I saw your name on the scholarship list. So, what? You're a rich girl gone nice?? I didn't know they existed." I said, laughing slightly.

Natalie:

"I'm not rich," I said in a calm tone. "I paid for my scholarship to this place, I work as a cashier for Barnes and Nobles." I said as I looked at Jess. I was glad that she was slowly becoming my friend. "So you know how to play the guitar? That sounds cool."

Jessica: I smiled, blushing slightly. "I know how to play, I'm not that good." I said, waving my hand nonchalantly. I looked up at her seriously. "It's really cool that you pay with your own money to go here. I don't think I'd be able to do it." I said, shrugging my shoulders slightly. "This place is like..survival of the fittest. Kill or Be Killed." I said in a faux scary tone, causing both of us to laugh a little. "You're a pretty cool chick, Natalie." I said, smiling widely. It felt good to finally have a friend.

Natalie:

"I think your very cool" I said as I looked at her. "I mean your willing to write your own songs and know how to express yourself. That's cool and amazing in my opinion. I mean maybe you could teach me how to play guitar some day." I said as I felt my heart jump once and bounce about my chest. "So who's your favorite singer? Mine is Jason Mraz," I said as I felt more relaxed about Jessica or simply known as Jess.

Jessica: "Of course I can teach you to play!" I said, playfully slapping her."Music is my life, dude. Hmm..My favorite singer....Oh, gosh. Just one?" I asked, laughing. "I like Butch Walker, Jimmy Eat World, The Foo Fighters, Gosh..Everything." I said, still laughing. "I'm a big Backstreet Boys fan." I said, seeing her laugh slightly. "Shutup...They are totally awesome." I said, laughing along with her. "Can I ask you a question?" I asked, not really waiting for an answer. "Do you know that kid Joseph Melendrez? Okay, don't tell anyone, but I have a mini-crush." I said, laughing slightly. "It's not like he'd ever go for me anyway." I said, throwing my hand up towards my face as I continued to blush.

Natalie:

I smiled at her, "Umm Backstreet boys? I guess they're OK, I'm not sure who Joseph Melendrez is. So I won't say a word about this to anyone." I said as I smiled at her. "I need to ask you something," I said as I looked at her. "I hope you don't hate me for saying this or run away. I really like you as a friend, but I think I'm kinda..." I paused for a moment. "I think I'm kinda never mind. I don't think it would matter now." I said feeling my face turn pink.

Jessica: I smiled warmly, playfully elbowing Natalie. "Come on, dude. Don't leave me hangin'." I said, smiling wide. "What's up?.. If we're gonna survive the wrath of the Plastic Barbies, we're gonna have to stick together." I said, trying to get her to open up. "I won't run away, or kick your ass..." I thought for a moment before continuing. "I don't even think I know how to kick someones ass." I said, erupting into laughter.

Natalie:

"OK, I think I'm kinda gay" I said this feeling weird about telling someone. "I never told anyone this, because I always pretended to be straight, I tried to ignore this thoughts. I hope we can still be friends though. I mean it would be nice to have a friend I can count on and vice versa." I said as I looked at her.

Jessica: My eyes widened in shock for a moment, before smiling. "It's cool. We can totally be friends." I said, hugging her. Once I pulled away, I smiled. "As long as you can resist my hottness." I said playfully winking at her. I erupted into giggles before turning serious. "You seriously thought I would stop being your friend?! Come on, Natalie. That would make me on better than them." I said, a small smile playing on my lips.

Luke: "Wow, someone's a little touchy." I said cockily, sitting beside her on the rock. "I didn't follow you, and I'm not some psycho stalker. This is my hiding place, princess." I said, sending a sideways glance towards the annoyed girl next to me. Taking the flask out of my pocket, I pointed it towards her. "Want some?" I asked, not bothering to look at her.

Natalie:

I smiled at her, "Thanks, I was hoping I could find a friend like you." I said as I sat there. "So what does this Joseph look like? Did you meet him yet?" I asked as I turned to her. "I mean I know that I'm well gay, but still is what's he like? Or is just love from first sight?" I asked as in a calm tone as I looked at Jess.

Jessica: I blushed as I covered my head with my hands. "I've never met him." I said, laughing. "I've never even spoken to him, but...I don't know." I said in an amazed tone. "I don't know anything about him, but I feel like I get him." I said before letting out a girlie squeal. "Forget about him right now." I said, nudging Natalie. "What about you?? Any hotties?" I asked, my eyes sparkling in interest.

Melissa

Melissa Harrison stood in the bathroom in front of one of the mirrors, putting the finishing touches on her makeup before she would join the others in this important event. Personally she didn't know why she came here tonight. It was probably filled with a bunch of rich, spoiled brats, but whatever. She vowed to have a good time, even if it was to insult them. She looked in the mirror once last time before packing her materials back into her purse. She took one last glance at herself in the mirror, before she took a deep breath, and walked out of the bathroom.

Her high heels clanked against the floor as she made her way into the ballroom. When she arrived, she stood at the doorway, observing everyone in conversation and those whom were dancing. It appeared as though everyone was having a good time…All but her. Nobody asked her to this event. It was her choice to come alone, or more like she didn't really have a choice. Whatever the circumstances might be she was regretting that she came this.

She reached a decision that this was a good idea so she turned and started to talk, but she bumped into someone. "Oh gosh, I'm sorry." She told the person in sincere tone. "I should’ve watched where I was going." She blushed, feeling rather embarrassed.
