I had to explain to my mom how Luke & Manny are related but it's explainable.

Fizbo is definitely a Luke-centric ep. Phil's birthday plans to him were amazing and he loved the rock wall and even Jay's crossbow. And of course, his belt.

I know! I also like how they shot it because at the beginning you don't know who's injured, as luke, manny and gloria arent there til the end i think. I thought it would be manny getting injured in the bouncy castle.

Yes this. It was the way the story was told that makes this ep GOLD.

Plus in the end, where Luke was scrathing his cast using his mom's comb sheath was hilarious. "Ahhhh, that felt good."

I think one of the cualities that make Luke so lovable is that he's a really simple kid. For exmaple, he doesn't go for the gift, he goes for the box, and when Phil and Claire told how one year they forgot about his birthday and they had to improvise a cake made of stuffing, it sounded like he wasn't even bothered by it. While his sisters ask for a computer and a car, he asks for chicken pie. He is so innocent, and he enjoys being a kid so much

So well said. That's why I like him so much. He doesn't let things bother him and doesn't notice the negative sides of most things. He's a happy go lucky kid. Like when Claire and Phil were so worried about the old man, he didn't even notice anything wrong with him, he just thought it was another person. Sometimes being simple has its advantages.

It's going to be really interesting to see what he ends up doing, for sure. They're laying the groundwork with Haley that she doesn't really know what her future is and I think it's going to be the same with Luke. You just know they'll find their special niche with parents like Phil and Claire helping them out!
