Yeah but I also think Phil really respects Jay and cares for him even if Jay has been harsh to him in the past. Hopefully we see a more positive relationship between them now.

I think that had any other actor delivered those lines, I would hae felt it was sweet, but Ed's portrayal... it touched my heart. This show has made me laugh and cry like no other

I think we all expected Jay to completely freak out which made the reaction even more special where he acted shocked and appalled, but was actually really relishing the opportunity.

I'm with all of you. This is the only show that makes me laugh & cry at the same time. I'm sure Jay will have a great storyline this season and he will not fail to make me cry...again.
