No its in s3 when Gloria gets Jay to go with Manny and Javier to the horse racing because she doesnt trust Javier with Manny alone.

Oh yeah, the strip club was named "The petting zoo" and Gloria said a real petting zoo would have been cleaner

I love the way Gloria is so protective of Manny but she makes Jay do things for him.

And she knows Jay is a very positive influence on her son, and knows that he loves him, so she just wants them to strenghen their bond, and even though Manny is very mature for his age, he still is a young kid, so Jay has to take the first step on some situations

I think by making Jay spend time with Manny in some situations she is able to build their relationship.

Manny is definitely mature, but he is still a kid. I know he has a great mother like Gloria, but Jay's stable and constant influence builds him up to be great person in the future.

I thought I didn't like Javier at the first time, but he knows what he cannot do and give to Manny, and didn't ignore Jay. I think at least he knows what is best for Manny that he doesn't act with jealousy.

Agreed with Javier. While he's not the role model of a father, Jay is now Manny's father and he & Gloria are raising him well.

Well said. With Javier I think the illusion of Javier is this bad father image but when you meet him, I think he just likes to have fun and just isn't cut out to be a father so Manny has Jay for that and Javier is still apart of his life.
