Yes, its taken a while for Claire to let Gloria help her. But I think they are at a good place in their friendship now.

It was a pleasant surprise to see Claire care about Jay hurting Gloria's feelings.

Just like when Jay made the comment with Claires brown hair saying she looked older and then Gloria nudged Jay after he said it,it probably sounds weird but I thought that was a sweet moment because it showed Gloria was caring about Claire and she felt bad for the comment that Jay made.
I think the minute Gloria became part of the family she just accepted everyone in it.We need a heartfelt moment between the two something similar with Jay and Phil in yesterdays ep.

I think its reciprocated, they have come to terms with each other so they really treat each other well. You forget Gloria is her mother in law.

I think it would have been funny if Claire had to be the one to tell her about the clothes being too tight,something similar to when she had to tell Cam about th bike shorts

Maybe Claire would have been more direct and enjoyed it especially when her clothes popped.

I loved that she put a great photo from the greatest photo EVER lol.
Hopefully that one was during a scene that way we know we'r goin to get a Claire and Gloria moment
