I like her well enough, but I don't think we've really seen much of her character yet besides her relationship with Nick and a little bit of her relationship with Faye too. That's something I would want to see more of especially.

I just wish he would've had something nice to say about Nick, that's what Melissa was hopinf for. Someone she could talk to, someone who loved him too.

I agree, she just needs the focus. Which is pretty amazing in and of itself because I walked into this show not expecting much from this character really and she managed to impress me alot! And that's not with much story either, but it's just something about the way Jessica delivers Melissa across in her scenes to me that makes it work!

She's sensitive but still stands her ground when she has to. Like when it came to Nick and how others were treating the mourning process when it came to her own grief?! Loved her - I thought she hit the nail on the head.

Melissa did make an attempt with Jake but I can tell she won't take his crap! Good for her, I say.
