I swear I feel more resistance from Cassie who just met Diana than Adam who has been w/ Diana for 3 years.

Well I ideally would have liked for things not to progress very quickly but it does feel about comparable to how it was in the books

and I hoped that they would slow it down for the show to make it more believable. I understand they have this undeniable attraction but if they're going to try to just stay away from each other or to just be friends then they should actually be trying to do that, not talking about their feelings or getting jealous or flirting every chance they get. Adam especially is not even trying. It's just not paced well for me. I really like them, I do and they have really great chemistry and they're so adorable but it needs to go slower especially on Adam's side.

It would have been nice if they had gone slower pace than the books but that doesn't seem to be the case. They way their feelings are going and Adam just not being able to stay away seems very reminiscent of that to me and I don't hate it but it just feels like show Diana is gonna get so hurt by it because Adam is trying to still have a relationship with her and at the same time explore his feelings with Cassie and that just doesn't work for me

I definitely feel more resistance from Cassie than Adam which doesn't make him look all that great since Diana's his gf, but I also don't believe he wants this to be happening. I feel like he more than anyone wants to find a solution for it. He wants Cassie and Diana to be friends because Diana wants it so I don't doubt that he cares. I think he's just in a bad situation and he's trying to navigate and find a way to make it easier for all of them.
