When they were being held by the witch hunters 1x07 Diana's crewit vile was the first to be burned. Cassie gets angry and she blows it up. It could have also been Diana forging her energy with Cassie's. Maybe that's just me reaching.

It is interesting that he tried to kill her first......the one thing this show has going for it is it makes you speculate until your head bursts lollll.....and others have mentioned that the Circle was properly bound (Jake's grandpa confirmed it) with the required 6 families. So it seems Charles has to be Diana's father...

Yeah, or there's a giant plot hole in the story.

Interesting theory definitely, the reveal definitely makes you think back if there were signs before. And there has been. The jar and Diana's dress.

I wonder when Diana's dark magic will be 'activated' or whatever. Will it be next ep? Or will they leave her unable to access it to the finale? Presumable, although, the witch hunters know there's another Blackwell they don't know who it is. Also, i'm taking Cassie's dark magic being activated when Diana's life was in danger as a clue.

I wonder if the hunters knew that Diana was the other Blackwell in 1x07 on the halloween episode? Diana was the one they picked to kill first. It would make sense if they did. Otherwise, knowing that Cassie has dark magic, why wouldn't they try to kill her first instead of Diana, unless they knew she was the other Blackwell and Diana just ended up getting picked first instead of Cassie.

It's possible they knew, if they knew there was another one then they should know who it was too.
