and I maintain that The Prince would have been the perfect episode for another C/L love scene, and that Neil Jordan had Cesare be too much of a stubborn ass by rejecting her desperation for even a kiss.

I guess you liked the fact that Cesare and Lucrezia made love while facing each other upright, huh?

I noticed he did that with only one other person, Charlotte, his wife.

But yeah, it did seem like they were totally hypnotized by one another during that scene, not wanting to look away or crane their necks, or even close their eyes until they kissed again.

And maybe that's why the scene was shot in slow motion, because they both wanted it to go on forever.

Ahhh... The Prince would've been a great time for a love scene between Cesare and Lucrezia. I'd have hoped they'd get one that was discreet and secluded so as to not raise suspicion.

After all, Rodrigo screws anything that moves in the Vatican.

Giulia, Vittoria, Bianca.

And I didn't understand why Cesare was all of a sudden acting so prudish when Lucrezia was getting affectionate and telling him that what they felt was "natural" and good.

And then by the end of the episode, Lucrezia's the one having a change of heart?

Someone flunked screenwriting 101. They should've ended it with another love scene instead of them both covered in blood.
