Therein lies some of the complexity of their relationship. I think he knew how hurt she would be by the truth (he wasn't too happy about what happened either), and wanted to shield her from knowing too much. By the end of that, however, I think she understood much more than she let on.

But to the game. Man, why must this be so hard? OK, #18 is my vote too.
