well a couple of Alex's team mates form my last post got hurt and the back ups didn't really produce...but players got healthy and they did win the world series in 6 games. Arinna says the Phillies are way over the salary cap and the players must go back to where they came from...

the following season...Alex goes to Dr. Strange and says - Ban the Salary Cap.... but then Alex says in the middle of the spell......well, only put a Salary Cap on Dodgers and New York Yankees...Dr. Strange says "forget it then...I'm not making this mistake again and Call me SIR"

I will go back in time to 1998, the year that Marvel Comics came out of bankruptcy and sold the rights to Spider-Man to Sony Pictures for $7 million, and get ahead of Sony by buying the films rights to ALL of Marvel's titles for the price they originally offered them to Sony for: $25 million.

$25 million. That's one quarter the budget for Titanic. That's less than John Carpenter made Big Trouble In Little China for in 1986. Do you know how much Marvel's titles are worth now? And Marvel was willing to offer it all for just $25 million. No one thought that the moviegoing public cared about any Marvel characters other than Spider-Man.
