I'm Mina and new around Fanforum. I think Sara is just an excuse for Neal. I mean she was there at the 'right' moment, when Neal needed something different and new in his life. I don't know if i'm being clear or not.
However Alex and Neal's chemistry/relationship seem more natural. They clearly mean a lot to each other.

I think that Neal/Sara need a lot more build up before it will all feel natural. As of right now, I think Neal sees her as the person he thinks he should end up with, that she is the right one in order to lead a good life. But I'm not sure if it's actually what he wants. She represents the life he seems to want right now or that Peter would like for him to have.

I think that both Neal/Sara and Neal/Alex have chemistry but I enjoy the NA one a bit more.

I do have many tbh. The first is the one at the swiming pool. The second is the one where they are at Neal's place and discuss while drinking red win and Neal told her something like : 'you cut me out!'. AND the last but not the least is the famous one where Alex says : You remind me of this treasure...'

I definitely love the "you cut me out", "we both cut each other out" scene. Full of emotions that are still there, they never went there and I think they need to.

and the treasure quote was so heartbreaking.

The 'you cut me out' scene was really great We got to know more of the history between the two of them. And you could certainly see the chemistry between the two of them. It's my personal fave that and the kiss scene in Copycat Caffrey.

Just , I agree, there is more to explore about the two of them. I can't wait to see it happens.

Even if they will probably never get a shot at being romantically involved, I got the feeling that nobody will take away what they lived together and the feelings they have for each other. Not the FBI nor Neal's other love interests. She is the one who brings excitement in his life, she is the one who makes him want to go beyond his limits. She is the one who is keeping 'Neal the Con Artist' ( The Neal that I love. ) alive. It will always be Alex.

( Btw I got a question : Is it me or everytime they kiss, Neal always want to make it last ? )
