It's great that the actors use their free time to do some other stuff. During the shooting of the show they are clearly limited, so it's good to see they use their time between the WC shootings to work on different projects.

But I'm used to waiting. I'm a huge Joseph Gordon-Levitt fan, sometimes I have to wait 1-2 years before his movies are released. And now the movie Rusher which he filmed last summer and was suspposed to premier in January will premier in August. BUMMER!

Seeing actors in different roles is always good imo. It helps us appreciate an actor's full range I think.
