Now I'm not saying a character (person) can't be redeemed after doing something bad. However depending on the situation and if that character betrays another person, I would hope it being spread across several episodes and it being a slow burned, before that person is trusted again.

i think we won't be seeing Rebecca..as per i think..

if they really want to have love interest now...better choice would be Sara but who knows?
